Intro to Web Design; Tables

In this session we will work with:

  • The basics for finding a web provider.
  • Setting up a site.
  • Preparing graphics for the web.
  • Creating a web page.
  • Working with Tables.

Assignment

Choose one of the following:

  1. (Advanced)Use tables to lay out a news letter with three to four columns. Make use of a banner, photographs and greeking for the text. Photos and headlines should be on a theme.
  2. Use tables to create a page of colorized black and white photos from the 19th century. All photos should be the same size and shape. Make use of text to provide captions and explanations for the meaning of the site.
